Job Description:

Calibration and inspection technician with a minimum of 10 years experience. Candidate will perform in house calibrations for an aerospace fastener company. Candidate will perform first article inspections and complete AS9102 forms for customers. Opportunity will include responsibilities to assist in test laboratory.

Calibration:
-10 years in calibration required preferable in aerospace fastener industry.
-Experience in the calibration service industry preferred.
-Will calibrate the following instruments: ID/OD calipers, digital and
analogue micrometers, digital indicators, protrusion gages, height gages, set plugs, ring gages, hex gages, tri-rolls among others.
-Must be knowledgeable of federal and military metrology specifications and requirements (GGG specs among others).
-Able to identify out of tolerance conditions, take corrective action, repair devises, and determine the significance of the out of tolerance condition.
-Must collect, measure, and record data during calibrations and repairs.
-Perform gage R&R studies to determine measurement errors and to suggest ways to improve measurement systems for facility,
-Experience with Calibration Software required (Gage Talker etc)
-Excellent communication skills. Job will include daily interaction with machinists including issuing gages and retrieving gages from the production floor in accordance with recall list.
-Excellent attention to detail. Candidate will maintain certification files and computer inventory for a NADCAP accredited laboratory.
-Advanced skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
-Must be able to write calibration procedures.

Inspection:
-First Article Inspection also required. Candidate will perform first article inspections to AS9102 requirement.
-Inspection experience required preferably in the fastener industry.
-Inspection experience with thread inspections and general fastener inspection preferred.

Laboratory
-Experience in test laboratory preferred
-Mechanical and metallurgical testing will be required. Candidate must either have experience in these functions or is capable of learning testing function.
-U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident Status required.

Experience implementing Lean and/or Six Sigma initiatives is a plus; experience leading a Kaizen event would be ideal.

Responsibilities
This position is based in the Enterprise Applications and Development team within the Information Technology Department. The candidate should have earned a University degree, have 5+ years of relevant industry experience in an applications design and programming environment, substantial database experience with MS SQL and a variety of programming languages, successfully delivered products/applications in a diverse mix of business areas, and be a self-starter.

This role requires a qualified, career-oriented individual who demonstrates good judgment in applying SDLC standards and best practices. Solid communication skills are required. The Business Analyst / DB Developer will be responsible for high availability (clustered), high visibility databases for ERP and CRM enterprise applications. The successful candidate will be responsible for advanced database programming including complex stored procedures, triggers, packages, database optimization including indexing query analysis. S/he will review, analyze and document the business and functional requirements, process flows, and design specifications.

The Business Analyst / DB Developer will understand complex environments and be at home dealing with virtual server and SAN environments, implementing database replication, clustering and data warehouse design and implementation. S/he will have effective communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of staff; the ability to work productively in a dedicated team and the ability to learn new applications quickly.

Requirements
• University degree in Computer Science or related fields, or the equivalent in work experience.
• At least 5+ years of relevant industry experience in an applications design and programming environment.
• At least 5 years of proven expertise in T-SQL programming and Business Intelligence Tools.
• At least 3 years of proven delivery of products/applications in a diverse mix of business areas, with tier-1 ERP solutions for manufacturing.
• At least 3 years experience in related business processes, including inventory management, sales cycles, POS, etc.
• Very experienced with Visual Studio, VB6, Dot Net, OLAP, SQL Reporting Services and Sharepoint.
• Proven track record of successful database and application design, deployment and maintenance.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills and proven history of successful team participation.
• Motivated self-starter.
• Knowledge and experience with Sarbanes Oxley requirements.
• Has legal right to work in the U.S.

Aerospace and composite materials technology company in Costa Mesa, CA is seeking an ambitious individual for a position in the Quality department as a Laboratory Technician. This position will be responsible for performing physical and/or mechanical tests of sample materials, analyzing the results and reporting the collected data.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:
•Gather production samples as required according to quality control procedures or as instructed.
• Set up lab equipment and prepare samples for testing and analysis.
• Operate various analytical instruments and laboratory equipment to analyze the properties of material samples.
• Maintain logs, computer data bases and other lab documents to record and report test data.
• Follow technical instructions and written lab procedures, comply with lab protocol to assure analytical integrity of the lab is maintained to established standards.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Desired:
